For the past two years, Leaf Photography has been an active partner in the photography program at London’s renowned City and Islington College. Terry Sims, the program’s course manager recognizes that introducing the students to industry-leading equipment is essential to the reallife learning scenarios that his course is known for. “As a cutting-edge college, we need the best equipment out there,” he says, “to prepare our students to work with the best – and as a consequence to do the best and be the best. The idea is for students to be familiar with the most advanced solutions out there.”

Leaf’s Education Plan provides one free camera back for each one purchased by the school. With the enthusiastic support of their local dealer, City and Islington College acquired three Leaf Aptus 17 backs with Leaf Capture software. The college uses the Leaf Aptus backs on their Sinar and H2 medium-format cameras in-studio to teach still life, fashion and portrait photography.
