Leaf to Showcase New AFi Medium-Format Digital Camera
at PhotoPlus Expo in New York

Targets professional photographers who seek high speed,
intuitive design and exceptional quality

Elmsford, NY October 25, 2007 – Leaf, the acclaimed leader in the design of digital backs for professional photographers and developer of the world’s fastest digital camera backs, announced the official launch of the new Leaf AFi – a next-generation, medium-format digital camera aimed at professional photographers.

Previewed as a prototype at Photokina, the Leaf AFi is now ready for live demonstrations and will be shown for the first time during the Photo Plus Expo in NYC on October 18-19-20. Specifically designed for high-resolution digital photography, the Leaf AFi product line is comprised of three models: Leaf AFi 7, Leaf AFi 6 and Leaf AFi 5.

The Leaf AFi distinguishes itself from competitive products by offering high speed, up to 70 images per minute, combined with a very large, ergonomically-designed screen and body. The result is a camera
that combines leading technologies into one elegant package that is very simple and intuitive to use.

The Leaf AFi is flexible, easily adaptable, and fully compatible with the Leaf digital back technology.

Designed and developed with input from the world’s leadingphotographers, the Leaf AFi incorporates the latest Schneider Autofocus Digital (AFD) lenses. These lenses have been specifically created for use with 30+ MP digital camera backs – offering optimal focus while making the best use of high-resolution CCD sensors.

Dov Kalinski, General Manager of Leaf comments: “We’re very enthusiastic about the positive customer feedback that we’ve received during beta testing of the Leaf AFi in the market. The PhotoPlus Expo is an excellent way to offer a closer look at an innovative, high-end digital camera system that addresses the technical requirements of professional photographers, in a robust and easy-to-use format.”
Based on a newly-designed ergonomic camera body, the Leaf AFi offers myriad unique features, including:

• Changeable viewfinder system (waist level or 90°/prism view)
• Specially designed Schneider-Kreuznach digital lenses for speed
and sharp images
• Adjustable control grip provides ergonomically optimal angles
for different shooting positions
• Switching between portrait and landscape by turning only the
camera back; no need to turn the camera

The Leaf AFi will be available in late 2007.
