Press Releases
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Included
with Leaf Aptus Digital Backs
Elmsford, NY June 1, 2007 – Leaf announced today that as a result of the seamless integration of
Leaf Capture and Adobe® Photoshop® LightroomTM, they will begin to bundle Lightroom free of charge
with every Leaf Aptus and Leaf Aptus S back starting on June 1.
Lightroom software is the professional photographer’s essential toolbox, providing one easy application
for managing, adjusting, and presenting large volumes of digital photographs so you can spend less time
in front of the computer and more time behind the lens.
"We’re happy to see continued support from camera manufacturers, like Leaf, that photographers rely
upon,” said Tom Hogarty, product manager for Photoshop Lightroom at Adobe. “We believe in open and extensible workflows that give photographers the options they need to do their best work. Photoshop Lightroom’s support for Leaf digital backs takes the emphasis away from the process and allows for focus on the image itself." “Leaf has always been regarded as an open platform, allowing photographers to choose the workflow
that best supports their individual business,” stated Mike Edwards, National Sales Manager of Leaf
America. “Lightroom is a major advancement as the tool set supports a variety of viewing and processing
methods that were previously not available to the professional photographer. By including it with every Leaf back sold, we are ensuring that every photographer, regardless of how they want to work, will be satisfied.”
